SNOWFLAKE ROUND ROBIN

This was organised by Maus on the TatChat Round Robin exchange page. We were a group of 8 tatters from Europe. We each made a snowflake and sent it to the next tatter on the list. They made a snowflake from a different pattern and added it to the package before posting it on to the next tatter on the list. By December we received our original snowflake back with 7 additional snowflakes made by the Round Robin members. It was great fun! This is the snowflake I made for Sharon.
Preferences: anything goes!
Thread: Altin Basak 50 in turquoise with irridescent seed beads.
Pattern: Star-shaped Snowflake from Vida Sunderman's "Tatted Snowflakes".

This is the snowflake I made for Bettina.
Preferences: white and ecru with or without beads.
Thread: Anchor 40 in ecru and white, provided by Bettina.
Pattern: Number 12 from Myra Piper's "Tatting"

Thread: Perle cotton 12 with yellow seed beads, provided by Gerda.

Thread: DMC Cordonnet 20 in white with YLI Candlelight for the chains.
Pattern: I believe, by Pam Palmer. I copied the design from a snowflake I received in an exchange several years ago.

These are the fabulous snowflakes I received from my exchange partners. My preferences were for white and/or silver. This picture really doesn't do them justice! What a blizzard!
